Active sister of Alpha Gamma goes to nonprofit camp!

Let's hear about what Kelsey Roberts has been doing during her #SigmaSummer! She went to KODA camp a few weeks ago in July!

"KODA Camp is a nonprofit camp made for Kids Of Deaf Adults. All of the campers and staff (yes that's me!!) have one or two deaf parents or have deaf family members. The camp is an opportunity for those of us who are members of the same deaf/hearing culture from all over the country to meet and join together for a week and have fun! When I was a camper, this camp helped me discover who I was as a member of the deaf community, allowed me to meet people who encouraged me to move to Kent, and as a staff member I have the opportunity to help children like me find themselves and be proud of their families and identity."
